DragonIsles is the latest epic chapter in the award-winning series from Gamewright, transporting players to a vibrant, Far East-inspired realm of Japanese mythology. As a monk, pirate, warrior, or sorcerer, you must navigate a landscape filled with mystical oni and hidden treasures. Using a clever blend of card-drafting and dice-rolling, players build their hands to take on diverse challenges—Sneak, Steal, or Strike—to overcome encounters and claim legendary trophies. It is a game of high adventure that perfectly balances the tension of a lucky roll with the long-term strategy of building a powerful character.

What distinguishes DragonIsles is its deep character progression system. For the first time in the series, each player has a unique Character Board, allowing you to “level up” throughout the game. As you gain experience, you unlock powerful special abilities and increase your card-holding capacity, turning your adventurer into a formidable hero.
