Gangster City is a light family-style deduction game. Use reasoning, deduction and a little bit of luck to figure out “whodunnit” on the case you’re assigned to, before the other players solve their case!
The game also comes with solo mode and co-operative rules for 22 different cases where you need to figure out the crime with a limited number of clues in ascending difficulty.
Can you solve the cases presented to you in Gangster City, preferably before the other detectives do so and show you up? Each case card identifies elements about your case that you must discover. At the start of the game, each player takes a card at random and faces it away from themselves. On a turn, you can either take a face-up card or the top card from the deck and ask the other players for similarities with your case card, or you can attempt to make an arrest and guess your suspect’s characteristics.
This game is primarily a deduction game where you need to think about how to most efficiently figure out the differences between cards. Using odds and statistics to figure out which card of the ones available will give you the best chances of narrowing it down is the key to victory. You can also practice memory elements in this game, as it can sometimes be challenging to remember your path of deduction, and combining this with new clues that pop up.
