Airecon is a family friendly, inclusive, analogue gaming festival; showcasing modern board games and card games. It will be held between Thursday 13th and Sunday 16th March at Harrogate Convention Centre.
Imagination Gaming will be running the awesome Family Zone there again this year and we’ll be bringing lots of games, including new games submitted for the Imagination Gaming Awards 2025 (see our awards page), as well as lots of old favourites. Any specific requests from previous years, just let us know and we’ll do our best to bring them too! Come and see us to ‘Learn to Play and Play to Learn’.
We will also be running our Inter-School Games Tournament on Friday 14th March. A competition like no other, giving children an opportunity to showcase their maths, literacy & problem-solving skills. Imagination Gaming have been working with schools for the last 18 years delivering curriculum-based activities. Using a wide range of exciting tabletop board games we engage, enthuse and educate pupils of all ages and abilities. Our tournaments are designed to encourage healthy competition between schools, offering something a little different from the normal sporting competitions. We refer to our tournaments as ‘mind-sport competition’. If you know any local primary schools (years 4 and up) that might be interested then tell them to get in touch on sarah@imaginationgaming.co.uk for more information and to book. This year we are also looking at running a secondary school tournament, so please email your interest in this too.
